Follow a bit of history in the making:

The Ed Roberts Campus mission is to ensure that people with disabilities can live independently and without discrimination. Located at a fully accessible transit hub, the Ed Roberts Campus will be a national and international model dedicated to disability rights and universal access. The Ed Roberts Campus will commemorate the life and work of Edward V. Roberts, an early leader in the independent living movement of persons with disabilities. Ed believed in the strength of collaborative efforts: He called it "working toward our preferred future."

Um. It seems odd to complain about accessibility on a blog about accessibility ... but as a person of limited bandwidth, I can't play these videos. Am I missing something? Is there some obvious way for me to find a text transcription or a description of the visuals? Or am I supposed to understand what's going on from three still pix of a construction site, a man in a chair, and two people in orange hardhats?

I'm really glad my only disability here is slow internet; can you imagine how I might feel if I were visually impaired, listening to this limited amount of text about "a campus whose mission is to ensure that people with disabilities can live ... without discrimination" ? Seems like this is Fail.

Or am I just missing something the rest of you all know?
